The Fish Series
I have always been fascinated with fish, building many aquariums as a teenager. Their form, locomotion, texture, symbolic value, etc. have always been interesting to me. In the early 2000's I started working a 2 series of images; the first images produced in the storage facility at the Museum of Zoology and Natural History in Florence Italy, aka La Specola and the second a series of still life photographs using fresh fish purchased in a local market.
