Grain & The Journal
Long before the cell phone, I used a point and shoot Olympus XA camera to record my experiences like a journal(which I'm too lazy to keep). I carried the camera everywhere loaded with high speed black and white film. Over the years, I amassed a large collection of images capturing everything from mundane meals to intimate moments. The graininess of the film helps hide some of the dirty details and the graininess gives the images a painterly quality. Here is a sample. Enjoy
