Castiglioncello, Candela, etc...
Photography is a natural match with ruined and/or abandoned places. The weathering of surfaces and growth of biological materials against man made objects compress the passage of glacially slow time. This 'Apocalypse Porn' has always fascinated me and while living abroad, locals graciously shared with me some abandoned places that I could explore with the camera. This folio of images comes from a few visits back in the early 2000's to a few such places.
